Watched episode 9 last night, really enjoyed it away from the prison and some of the wimpier characters. Not to spoil it so, am looking forward to episode ten.

Just watched E14 of the current series and the ending, well it was perhaps the most powerful and moving I have ever seen in any PA screen fiction.

That is right, real nerve it must have taken to write that story line. Shame to lose two such characters though but that is the "reality" of PA for you. In the book Survivors there is the child that just wanders off. Scenery is a bit samey but the plot is so much better than Revolution's where they re-use locations much more.

I think the last half of season four has been my favourite so far - none of the characters have aggravated me the way Lori or Andrea did, love the relationships between Carl and Michonne and Rick and Daryl.

Potential spoiler
I wonder if one might speculate how our group will escape. I wonder if one will pretend to die and to turn thus spoiling the "meat" of the others by pretending to attack them. Then they attach guards when they try to preserve some of the anticipated food resource and by opening the doors.
Or, I believe, Houdini escaped from a sealed railway wagon heading for Siberia so the wagon might have a weak spot from which Carl can escape to get the weaponry buried by Rick.

Seen the new trailer for the next Walking Dead. If you haven't don't because it seems to give away too much.
There also seem to be webisodes of TWD but the screen tells me that they aren't available where I am. Anybody in the UK seen them?

Thanks for the tip off about the trailer, Edwin. I'll avoid it if that's possible.
I can't view the webisodes either and I'm in the UK. I happened to travel to the US when the last batch came out and could view them there, but not here. I don't know if there are any unofficial sites that have them. The previous ones were quite good - self contained short stories a few minutes long I think (and some tied in with the main series through the details, but weren't directly dependent on it).
