Only partly fiction but presented as whole truth this Nuclear Scares of the Cold war DVD is one I picked up today in a Garden centre.

What to expect and how to behave in a public fallout shelter.
Duck and cover and other survival tips for Americans.

For some strange reasons I like the 1`1950s production values of American films and this one just appeals, so much jollier than"Attack warning Red" of ours or "War Game"

Finished the assorted short films and they had clean-limbed Americans doing good and living with nukes. But they did say that fallout was kind off dangerous and a thermo-nuclear explosion could actually kill you (quelle suprise).

Mustn't knock it because from my time as a Community technical Adviser it was significant how even an little bit of knowledge could aid survival.
