Following a suggestion I am thinking about setting up a monthly post-apoc book club on here.
The formula would be that a book is nominated and people have a month or so in advance to read up on it and then people can set up topics of debate and so on.
I would add a new forum for it.
My initial suggestion, since we will only have 3 weeks or so before kicking things off on February 1st would be 'Earth Abides'. Perhaps go for a theme of a classic followed by a book from the last year or so ?
Any thoughts or suggestions ?

Are we on? may I start?
Is Stewart overly pessimistic about the decline in culture as evinced with his last lucid moments? Or, overly optimistic in that he saw a new strong culture happening rather than a sort of "dirt-poor" group of slum dwellers doing mostly nothing?
Did the bow or the dog sled save them?

Not sure what is going on so am going to delete all the book club stuff and try and start all over again as I have done something wrong and cannot work out what. Sorry about this. Trial and error
