Very interesting PA novel by Russell Hoban. Set in far future in small area of Kent. Very Chaucerish in its style but intriguing with the writer using phontetic spelling, Riddlish" for a better term.
Read it many years ago and will have to track down another copy...

Busy working my way through this one at the moment love that alot of things have double meanings, does the Hart of the woods refer to its centre or a deer (as an example) great book love the language drift.

Just ordered this for 1p! plus postage. But did wonder about some American exapnded edition, any ideas how interesting that one is?
