Basic concept is that one individual is placed in an apocalypse situation in an attempt to make him more grateful for what he really has. I rather liked it whilst having my reservations about Derren Brown in general but I thought the concept was a clever one.

watched part of it. Used to like brown but thought he was insufferable in this programme. "I want to teach (the victim) compassion etc blah blah". Ego barely contained by that stupid hat. If a participant had watched an episode of Walking Dead or 28 Days Later the only danger would have been the potential effects of uncontrollable laughter.
The timescale, apart from anything else is always too short in this sort of thing as well as dodgy details "get changed because your clothes may be infected" in the same room as the new clothes and sleeping quarters, really?
Will give the second episode a look in case we have some proper PA scenes but I doubt it.
