This one has me scratching my head. Even when I google for the title it turns up blank?
It was a book or series of books that were heavily influenced by celtic and druidish mysticism. Ahn Kevern or "The Mystery" was like a holy grail object through the novel. Main storyline was about a British submarine that crashes into an iceberg while submerged and the immense cold puts the crew into suspended animation.
They drift south and eventually thaw hundreds of years later. They find London in ruins and the whole countryside based on a celtic and druid lifestyle. The crew is split up when the sub explodes. One crew member becomes involved with the whole Ahn Kevern odyssey, another party encounter an underground "Seti" that has helicopter (or ornithopters) still in operation and are seen as black bugs by the general ground dwellers. The Seti inhabitants have a few National Socialist books from the 1930's that they regard as their creed...
Can anyone fill me in on the right title of this book or series of books if i have it wrong....
Peter
