Nothing I am afraid but at my age I am lucky to get very much that is 'fun' these days. However I did get a very comfy pair of slippers so my PA reading/writing and so on can be enjoyed with warm feet ! Which works for me

"Ultimate guide to wilderness living, survive with nothing but your bare hands and what you find in the woods" by John and Geri Mcpherson. Very interesting read, need a knife? Smash a rock etc. Photographs could be clearer but I have already got a few ideas. Nothing on boat building but I also got "The Boyne Currach" by Claidhbh O Gibne which answers that need.
Wet suit so I can fish from the kayak in winter as well.
Last year I got a multi-tool which also had a small axe/hammer amongst the tools (from a sister and brother in law who know me!
Anniversary of my heart attack on 6th January last year coming up so the whole year has been a survival prezzy. Hopefully will be able to have some bivvy bag foraging camps using the coracle or kayak or maybe a currach with some chums this year, The Good Lady Wife has (quite reasonably) vetoed solo overnight expeditions.

Wet suit so I can fish from the kayak in winter as well. Always rather liked the idea of fishing from a kayak although mine would be limited to the rather warmer waters of the Adriatic sea in the summer months. Only need for clothing would be to protect from sun-burn. Any particular brands or rigs to look out for ?

Mine is a 15 foot Ocean Prowler Sit-On-Top kayak. Bit of a barge but she takes me where I want to go and can handle roughish waves.Although I have a rod I use a handline and am working on a dozen hook longline.
Interested in experimenting with snorkelling off the boat with a speargun which should be very nice to do in the Med. Met someone on a Greek Island who goes after octopi. Short sit on top would do for the sort of sea conditions out there, cheaper and lighter.
