This 50 foot five ton wooden boat was made from and by materials available PA in Cornwall. replica of one discovered at Ferriby on the River Humber dating from about 4,000 years ago. The oak, yew withies for sewing the planks, ash handles for the tools and the bronze axes, adzes and chisels all made in Cornwall. Even the tin and copper could have been sourced in Cornwall 2,000ish BC. Over Easter I will be making a coracle from local materials. PA, water transport would definitely be available. www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zM9tdqnYNLU
