www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00szzcpInteresting new series from the BBC. Heard is being discussed on tonight's 'Front Row' on Radio 4. Basic premise is that there is a Zombie outbreak but a cure of sorts is found and Zombies can be treated. Or rather the infection can be halted. Show is about how one family copes with a member returning back to the fold after subjected to this treatment and the issues it throws up, not least the fact that other Zombies are still being killed. I was a little skeptical of the idea when I first heard it being talked about some weeks ago but now, well it will be interesting to see how they handle it and the issues it throws up.

Well watched the first one and........still very much in two minds. Its an interesting take on the whole genre but its also clumsy. The ideas it throws up about redemption and forgiveness are interesting but we will have to see how it all pans out.

Evening All, Being a production from the Beeb I was a bit wary of this one but I have to say it's a pleasant surprise. It's not exactly cheerful stuff but it's a very interesting concept in this age of endless fiction depicting battles with flesh eating zombies....that said I'll hear nothing against The Walking Dead I also like the look of the thing, it has a real bleak apocalyptic feel and is beautifully shot. Looking forward to part 3 and I hope there will be some sort of continuation if the writers can think of ideas worth exploring?
