Hey guys, I've been a huge fan of everything post-apocalyptia, since I was about 14 (I'm now 30) I'm also a filmmaker, and have decided to put my to fave things together to create a series set in a post-nuclear Great Britain called "Finding Forty-Two" ( www.imdb.com/title/tt3313936/ ).
We're aiming to make a pilot for now, and we've got most of the stuff we need (camera's/Lights/Sound, Cast, Crew, Costuming) but we need people to help us raise the last bit of funding we need to make this a reality, as fans of the genre I hope the residents of this rather awesome forum would be interesting in supporting us to see more Dystopian Britain on camera
please take a look at our indiegogo campaign at igg.me/at/FindingFortyTwo/x/6345603, also if you would like to follow us on facebook our page is www.facebook.com/findingfortytwoseries and twitter is @findingfortytwo

Today I received three requests for money. Why would I support this project rather than assist an archaeologist complete his PhD? As it happens I shan't be supporting anybody, after all nobody pays for my petrol to visit my wood to build my prehistoric hut or for the timber for the ancient boat reconstruction I want to do.
Also I am afraid that your plot appears very old-fashioned. A quest no less, will you be showing much of how people would attempt to rebuild after the PA? Even a bounty hunter which requires an organisation to employ him. how did this come into being and why would people be worth hunting if no law courts?
Sorry to be negative and I might watch it if it is completed and it is more interesting than the proposal.

I'm sorry, I didn't realise I'd sent this personally to just you, I thought I'd posted a thread for the forum.
Please delete it immediately, I didn't mean to post personal spam.

It was a general post not personal. I will let it stand because there is no reason that the forum shouldn't read it. Other members may have a completely different view.
