Not sure what to think. Personally the Mad Max films are my 'Star Wars' in terms of the influence they have had over my love of the PA genre. The first two films I absolutely adore, for different reasons, and they are perennial favorites. The third film, well lets just say that I enjoyed it but felt it took the whole thing far to much into the realms of being nothing more than a glorified pop video. And now this. A fourth film has long been mooted and several attempts made to get it off the ground. In someways, from this trailer, it looks like it is going back to the whole feel of the second film but it seems too slick. I loved the first two because they felt gritty. The second one might have had a host of comic looking characters but you knew they had terrible B.O and everybody body involved looked like they needed a bloody good wash. Lets see. I hope that it is good. Better than good. A classic. But I have my doubts already.

I saw it last night. Some great bits, some bits of hollywood silliness and plot holes. In some ways there is too much richness of sets and vehicles, all happening too fast to appreciate all the work that went into it.
