Non-fiction book just ordered. Winkler's Tales that is an account of exploring the creeks etc of the Essex marshes. The life of the old Marshmen might be a viable PA lifestyle especially if sea defences broke down and the marshes spread back to something like their old extent. Health might be a problem if marsh fever returned but the abundance of food and resources would be attractive.
