www.amazon.co.uk/Unit-Novel-Terry-DeHart/dp/1841499331Picked up a copy of this book from my local libary just before going away on my hols. Its set in an America that seems to have suffered from a series of nuclear attacks much like the senario in 'Jericho' and follows a family who are trying to get back home. Its very American in its 'survivalist' message and not really my cup of post apoc tea but the writer has been brave in how he has gone for a multi-character view point and its certainly not a book that has a overly positive ending which I like

Actually bought a copy very cheap through Amazon.
Half-way through and finding it not bad but not the best yet. Interesting mirror to American concerns about families and society.

Edwin Its certainly very American and whilst I cannot pretend to have really enjoyed it I thought it a very credible first novel and a brave one from a technical point of view.
